Relatives charged for farmer's death

The police have charged two relatives of a farmer who was found dead in his yard on October 22.

The mutilated body of 61-year-old Roy Burry from Morant District, St Thomas, who was reported missing on Tuesday, October 20, 2015, was found in a section of his yard on October 22.

Charged with murder are 31-year-old Darion Edwards and 22-year-old Romaine Burry, both also of Morant District in the parish.

Reports from the Seaforth police are that Burry was reported missing by a relative and an investigation launched. The investigations subsequently led to the arrest of the relatives. They are to appear in the Morant Bay Resident Magistrate's Court on Wednesday, November 18.
